Enhanced Services
We are part of a system where we verify whether a patient who has been referred to the Hospital Eye Service needs a hospital visit. Typically this involves measuring their Intra Ocular Pressures with Applanation Tonometry. This is an initiative set-up in 2011 by Suffolk PCT, Suffolk Local Optometry Committee and a company called Evolutio to improve efficiencies in our local Health Service.
