Children’s Vision
We welcome children at Peel and Gudgin Opticians. We are able to measure their vision from the age of about 3. We try and make the examination fun and give out stickers afterwards. 
They don’t have to know their letters. Up to the age of 3 by all means ask us for guidance if there is a problem, and we can refer you to the appropriate health professional if necessary.
We do sometimes have to use eye drops to help us get a true reading for your child’s refraction ( how long or short sighted or astigmatic they might be ). We only use them when we have to as they do sting a bit and blur vision for a few hours.
